This law lecture /tutorial series on the law of tort in English law, is based on Common Law (as opposed to Civil Law), provides an understanding of various areas of the law of tort in England and is based on the English law LLB syllabus of the average UK (English) university.. It covers the main concepts and principles including negligence – duty of care, breach of a duty of care, causation and remoteness of damage, Occupiers’ Liability, Liability of Manufacturers, Employers’ Liability, Vicarious Liability, Product Liability, Statutory Duty, Liability for Animals (Animals’ Act) Intentional injuries to the person, interference with economic interest, nuisance, and the effect of death on liability & defences.

There is one lecture / tutorial session dedicated solely to answering tort law examination questions. Tort law exams require a particular approach and three questions with guides to answering them are also included.
